Warehouse shelf development in the future !!!!
Scott modesty but bones filled with confidence and pride, he is paying close attention to reflow manufacturing, 3D printing, mobile Internet, all these present popular business trends.
Q: you've been a supporter of the warehouse shelves. Taking into account the development of the UPS Shanghai international transportation center, how do you think about the Shanghai free trade zone?
ScottDavis: for the free trade area of Shanghai, we are very happy. This is a perfect example of free trade. But we know that there are still a lot of work to do, the relevant tax policy is not in place, there are consumer policy. I think it is to take this area as an experiment, and hope to see a free trade area in other parts of China in the future. For this practice, we applaud, this is a great step.
Q: UPS has entered 19 cities in China, what is the next step in the UPS market in China? UPS there is no specific plan for the Chinese B2C market to pave the way?
ScottDavis: we have reached a temporary agreement, and next year to increase 14 cities, so, when we expect to enter the 33 cities, but there will be a better network. Now, we have been in service for the B2C market, but mainly to the world of China's electricity supplier service providers, as well as to China's international business service providers. As time goes by, it will be a big market in the world, and we want to provide services to the world's largest market. We have accumulated technology, will be applied in the whole world. Our job is to keep the technical superiority and improve the competition. Of course, in the domestic market also has the strength of competitors.
Q: SF in China express market share accounted for 20% - 25%, since good luck began international expansion, such as to the United States it will not affect the ups? Have you ever worried about potential competitors in the Chinese market?
ScottDavis: No, the competition for the end consumer is good. And we have been running this business for 106 years, we have many competitors, and we have to make sure that our work is better than our competitors. Building better networks, providing better services, better technology. I think our competitors are very good. With the passage of time, SF will be a good competitor. They developed very quickly. They have room for development outside China, and we have room for development in China.
Q: you have said that it is no longer the only customer requirements, so now UPS will be how to respond to the diverse needs of customers?
ScottDavis: we have integrated global network, which can provide ground services, air services, as well as delayed delivery services. We have been trying to keep the customer satisfied, in the time they require the delivery of goods. Therefore, for the fact that in the United States to the ground transportation of UPS, we were chosen to transport the majority of the products, then we become a company, a network can be adjusted to provide any service mode. We also have the ocean shipping, because sometimes people don't need to be so quick to serve the destination, we have air transport, and often use rail transport, so our network can be in any way to provide services for customers.
